in Our Garden

The poetry of earth is never dead.
John Keats
If your garden is located in a mild winter region, with a long growing season and almost no winter freeze, where summers are either hot and dry or hot and humid (similar to zone 9 in the US - Central California, parts of Texas and central Florida) you may be interested in some of the ideas we have to share here.
On the other hand - if you're an arm chair gardener - we invite you to scroll through our photos, check out our herb and craft ideas and just enjoy without having to roll up your sleeves and pull on your work gloves. Click a sign for the seasons...then tour all of our offerings.

Go
often to the house of your friend, for weeds choke up the unused path.
"Let us be grateful to people who make
us happy: They are the charming gardeners
who make our souls blossom."
Marcel Proust

Heaven * the BEST FEEDERS!
We don't normally endorse products here at nanaellen.com,
but these are the ONLY feeders our hummers are offered. They never
leak, they don't break down from the UV rays and I can buy replacement
parts instead of an entirely new feeder. Bought my first feeder
in 1995 and just replaced the hanger this season! Plus, Mamma Hummer
is such a sweetheart!
